I am a Change Management Lead who guides the design, development and overall implementation of company-wide Change Management programs for business and information – technology – communication (ITC) transformation initiatives.

Focusing on the DNA of the challenge, I assess the gap between the transformation goal and current company status. Determining the most appropriate Change strategy, I engage and align stakeholders towards achieving the desired transformation change.

With a MBA, ITIL certification and 25 years international experience influencing stakeholder behaviour, I exercise good judgment to understand and refine a company’s strategic vision.

Looking at the business drivers and employee motivators, I build the case for change that rallies the desire and commitment to change.

Assessing the new skills required to achieve the process and technology improvements, I create training strategies that support sustainable change.

Barrick Gold Corporation
Barrick Gold's goal is to achieve global business synergies through standardization of operational and business processes. A global organizational restructure and implementation of one Enterprise Resource Planning system across all 4 regions were executed. Behavioural change was a strategic imperative. The backbone was an effective Organizational Change Management and Training approach.

In the role of Global Change Management Lead, my achievements include:
  1. Developed and oversaw global Change Management and Training strategy, including stakeholder engagement and communications approach, across four geographic regions.
  2. Attained alignment of Barrick's regionally independent Change Management teams to execute on the global Change strategy.
  3. Lead Global Operations Support division in the creation of its brand identity and transformational blueprint, post organizational reorganization.
  4. Successfully integrated 10 independent functional departments into one united identity
  5. Achieved consensus across the functional departments to operationalize standardized end to end inter-departmental business processes.

Cara Operations
Cara Operations' goal was to expand their restaurant footprint with existing resources. A key driver enabling this is the standardization of their restaurant financials and administrative processes. The consulting engagement successfully completed:
  1. Creation of a common chart of accounts across Cara’s restaurants.
  2. Adoption of the chart of accounts into Operations.
  3. Review of the financial reporting templates and facilitation of stakeholder workshops to align on common reports.
  4. Field research to establish As Is business processes and identification of opportunities to standardize administrative efficiencies.
  5. Implementation of a common monthly dashboard of Key Performance Indicators across the companies.

Compaq Computing
Compaq's goal was to drastically reposition their value proposition from a clone box maker to an IT service provider. The advertising agencies supporting the vision needed to quickly develop and leverage resources to create and support the strategic vision.

In my role as group advertising account director through 2 agencies, DDB and FCB, I delivered on 3 interdependent mandates:

  1. Created, with the international team, a brand strategy and implementation plan for Canada.
  2. Produced an organizational structure and built a team to execute on a $25 million advertising budget.
  3. Designed best-practice procedures to execute direct advertising campaigns in half the time.

Quadravision Internet Services (acquired by Bowne & Co)
Quadravision's goal was to be acquired by a top tier financial communication's company. The strategy to achieve the goal was to develop industry first solutions for the largest international financial institutions

I lead the client engagements that significantly contributed towards the successful acquisition. Accomplishments include:
  1. Oversaw the development of the ground-breaking internet innovations for financial institutions.
  2. Created a sustainable structure and methodology to consistently launch first-time Internet solutions on time and on budget.
  3. Created and conducted Change workshops in Germany, coaching product managers and enabling them to create the first virtual bank in Europe.
